Music Room

Music is the art of arranging sounds in time through the elements of melody, harmony, rhythm and tempo. Music includes pitch, melody ,harmony and rhythm. Music is performed with a vast range of instruments and vocal techniques ranging from singing to rapping.

*We teach music to make children understand the music vocals which can improve their singing. *Through music the student develops a creative mind. *We teach basics of music to create their own musical tempo. *We teach them to perform on the stage with orchestra. *We give them knowledge of different types of swar, raag, alaap and alankar. *We teach patriotic songs, light music, bhajans , geet and playing musical instruments. *Music enhances happiness,stress free environment and positive psychology in students.

Music Room Equipments


All basic musical equipments are made available to the students. Instruments like the harmonium, tabla, sitar, sarod, congo, drums, piano, keyboard and others are accessible for the students. The music department is equipped with teaching students both vocal and instrumental Indian classical music. Interested students can learn contemporary dances and songs as well as classical dances. The music room is sound proof and there is a separate resonance resistance practice room adjacent to the main room. For the dissemination of theoretical knowledge, the music room is equipped with smart-boards, latest PCs and upgraded software.

School Orchestra& Clubs


The school has its own orchestra that has won several prestigious awards at the state and zonal level competitions. Our students perform during the school functions both within the premises as well as outside.We have various clubs that further hone the skills of students with focused interest in dance and music. These clubs host a number of activities with students getting ample opportunity to participate and display what they have learnt. They partake in inter-school and intra-school activities thereby gaining confidence and recognition for their special skills.
