School Rules

  1. Every student must carry his/her almanac and identity card to school every day.
  2. A student should affix his/her photograph and write the required information, duly signed by parents, in the space provided for in the almanac.
  3. Students are not allowed to bring mobile phone to school. If they do so, it will be confiscated.
  4. Students should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed. The school uniform should be worn on all working days and for all school functions. Students who are slovenly dressed or not in uniform will be sent home.
  5. All boys (except Sikhs) must keep their hair short. Girls must tie their hair neatly with a black band.
  6. Care must be taken of all school property. No student should damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on the walls. Damage done should be reported at once to the class teacher.
  7. No books (other than text books or library books), magazines or papers should be brought to the school.
  8. Lending or borrowing of money or other articles is prohibited.
  9. The school is not responsible for goods. It is not advisable to bring valuable articles (like expensive watches, fountain-pens, items of jewellery) to school.
  10. Parents and guardians of all students should contact the teachers on PTA days to note the progress of their wards.
  11. Parents and guardians must not visit their wards or teachers without prior permission of the Principal.
  12. Students should get their Report Cards signed by their parents/guardians within two days of receipt of Report Cards.
  13. The name, class and section of the pupil should be clearly marked on all the belongings of the students. Water bottles, blazer and jerseys should also bear the name of the student.
  14. The school insists on the following measures to be observed by the staff members and all students. Care must be taken to observe the “green rules” in order to maintain clean and green surroundings. That is, school premises should not be littered with disposable tumblers, papers or polythene bags. If polythene bags are brought to school, care should be taken not to dispose them off in the school grounds. Minimal use of polythene bags will be appreciated
  15. Do not spoil the plants or pluck flowers.
  16. Students should invariably be polite wherever they go. They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct. They should greet their teachers when they meet them. Bullying and use of foul language are punishable offences.
  17. Students are not allowed to bring any sharp instruments such as knives etc. to the school, or any kind of object that can cause injury to others.
  18. Students are advised to keep their class room, school buildings and campus as clean as possible, and throw leftovers into the dustbins.
  19. School provides education from nursery to class XII. Therefore, it is expected that the juniors should be treated with love and affection, while the juniors show all respect to their seniors. There should be perfect harmony between the juniors & seniors.
  20. No students shall indulge in any of the following practices, namely:

  21. Students indulging in aggressive or violent behavior will not be allowed to travel by school bus. They will be picked and dropped to school by their parents.
  22. A permission card signed by the teacher (incharge of a period) must be carried by a child going to the clinic for treatment.
  23. Students should not indulge in violent or destructive activities.
  24. Students will not overlook the orders, directions and instructions given to them by the school authorities.
  25. Students using unfair means during examinations will face disciplinary action as decided by the school authorities.
  26. A child who fails twice in the same class will not be permitted to continue his/her studies in the school.
  27. Student who fails in one subject will be allowed a compartment for re-appearing in the subject, subject to his previous result in the terminal exams.
  28. A student will not cooperate or indulge in any act of violence committed by other students which will harm any student physically or mentally.
  29. Students will not do anything to disturb the principles and norms of school discipline.
  30. Latecomers, uniform defaulters and children who do not attend to their homework regularly will be dealt with strictness.
  31. A student who uses unfair means during tests will be given zero in the subject and a warning letter. Repetition of the same will result in dismissal.
  32. Students are not allowed to use the school telephone without the permission of the Receptionist. They will not be called to answer phone calls during class hours.
  33. A sick child should not be sent to school. In case of an emergency, when the school doctor instructs so, the parents will be requested to take the child back. Under no circumstances will the child be allowed to leave school without an authority letter from the parents.
  34. Students are not allowed to go to a relative/friend’s house from school.
  35. No birthday gifts in any form are allowed. Distribution of any gifts/sweets in the school is banned.
  36. The school provides all the necessary equipment for sports activity during the games period. Students are not allowed to bring their own balls, bats etc to the school.
