Cultural Activities

The school believes that students’ participation in cultural activities enhances the students’ creativity and confidence and dispels stage fear. Some of the cultural events that are celebrated in the school are:


The Winter Carnival is organised in the school on the 25th December. Almost the entire school participates in this grand event. The students put up a grand show which include skits, plays, dances, fashion show. The Bishop of St. Peters Marthoma Church blesses the gathering on the occasion of Christmas. Stalls, rides and the spirit of Christmas that pervades the air add to the festivity of the grand occasion.
The school magazine "Renaissance" is released on that day and the students are awarded for their outstanding performances in various fields.
Many important personalities from the field of education and entertainment grace the occasion.
The students scoring CGPA 9.6 to 10 in the X Board are awarded a cheque of Rs. 10,000/- each for their brilliant performance. The students scoring 100 in Maths in X Board are given cheques of Rs. 2100/- each.


Sports cum Appreciation Day gives the students to prove their mettle in various sports activities and also their co-ordination skills and dexterous agility in synchronized drills and martial arts display.
Prizes for excellence in sports are also given on this day.
Grandparents are specially honoured. Tug of war for grand fathers and musical chairs for grand mothers also to add to the swinging mirth of the occasion.
Independence Day, Republic Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Diwali & Children’s Day is celebrated in the school.
The Pre-Primary Wing also celebrates Mango Day, Red Day, Lemonade Day, Sandwich making day etc, Holi and many more interesting functions.
