St. Andrews Scots Sr. Sec. School, I.P. Extension, Delhi-92 has always believed in education that bears greater affinity to a students life ahead. The founder principal Mrs. P.L. Rana’s inspiration and constant guidance has made the school a force to reckon with in various fields. Besides academics, the school has done exceedingly well in various areas like sports, music, performing arts, oratory and a lot more.

When a child comes to us it is his/her very first exposure to the world outside the realm of the family. The imprints of the first experience give direction to his life later. So, we aim at the overall development of our students.

In the present world of degenerating values, we seek to inculcate good values which have been producing true human beings who lead our society towards true upliftment. The aim can only be attained if all possible avenues are explored and utilised to develop the all round personality of the pupil.

This is done through the student teacher relationship where teacher takes keen interest in each student, so as to bring up the talents and enhance the mental/creative capacities of the student. The Nursery Wing, the portal to a student’s academic career has been designed with a lot of care to develop child’s personality to the fullest. At primary stage we lay emphasis on making the foundation of knowledge crisp clear coupled with a proper understanding of subjects. We augment bookish knowledge with cultural and ethical knowledge as well, to give proper values, something which the present world needs.

We are all like family members where the seniors guide the youngsters and where the experience of the seniors gives extra impetus to the energy of youngsters.

Change is natural and inevitable. Since the formation of St. Andrews Scots Education Society we have been upgrading the contents of the programmes of school from time to time. Our aim is to develop the character and individuality of the students through a well-knit combination of general education and co-curricular activities. Very carefully we mould the wards into socially aware and responsible citizens.

The School is divided into different Groups (Houses). Such a system brings the students of different classes together. This interaction provides mental guidance and develops leadership qualities in them by ensuring the participation of everyone in different activities.

Our Vision

Making this Institute emerge as the alma mater for students that broadens horizons, inspires and empowers them to dream the impossible and yet keeps them grounded so as not to lose touch with reality.
